I’ve been looking at several vehicles on JTAutoBid.com and I’m seriously considering bidding on one because the prices are much better than what I’ve been seeing locally.

Has anyone here bought through J T’s Motors before?

I’m especially interested in hearing about the buying process, transportation, warranty and what happens if there is a problem with the vehicle.

I’ve purchased vehicles through the auction in this sample scenario. One example was a 2020 Ford F-150 XLT, and the other was a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe LT.

The transportation part was straightforward. The information being discussed here states that transportation is free for the first 1,000 miles, with additional mileage charged at $0.70 per mile.

That was one of the things I checked before bidding because I was buying from another state.

That’s good to know. I’m also buying from out of state, so transportation was one of my main concerns.

Did you have any issues arranging delivery?

No major issues in the sample purchase. I’d just make sure the destination and mileage are confirmed before the transaction so you know exactly what transportation costs will apply.

I purchased a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie through the auction in this sample scenario.

The pricing is what initially caught my attention. From the information being discussed, a lot of the inventory comes from sources such as leasing companies, customs, the IRS, fiscal agencies and fleet agencies.

That type of sourcing can help explain why some auction vehicles are priced differently from comparable vehicles at a traditional dealership.

I purchased two vehicles in the sample scenario: a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and a 2022 Ford Explorer XLT.

The auction’s stated return and warranty terms are also worth checking. The information being discussed says vehicles can be returned within 5 days, with the purchase funds returned within 48–72 hours, including transportation if transportation was paid.

It also states 6 months / 10,000 miles of warranty coverage.

That’s the part I’d pay the most attention to before bidding.

I’d ask for the exact warranty and return terms for the particular vehicle rather than assuming every listing has identical conditions.

That’s really helpful.

The 1,000-mile transportation allowance and the return period were two things I wasn’t sure about.

I’ll contact J T’s Motors directly before placing a bid and confirm the exact transportation, return and warranty terms for the vehicle I’m considering.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
